CPVC Pipe fitting and CPVC Ball Valve

CPVC Fittings and CPVC Pipe and fittings come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and purposes. Some people use CPVC pipes to compress air or gas, but we are not aware of suitable manufacturers who recommend this type of pipe.

The CPVC fittings we provide on this page side copper pipe size (CTS) normal PVC and plan 40 PVC pipe sizes according to IPS standards for iron pipe sizes for larger diameters. CPVC is designed to fit exactly the same holes as existing copper pipes but replaces the CPVC with a smaller outer diameter OD (typically white) Plan 40 sanitary PVC. You can convert your pipe to CPVC or schedule a 40vc pipe of the same size.

Our Schedule 80 CPVC tube fittings are available in many sizes, so you can find the perfect fit for almost anything. Fittings offer a wide range of applications and all kinds of connections can be made. For Schedule 80 CPVC fittings, we carry elbow T-pieces, 45-degree elbow coupling adapters, bushings, yes, caps, dowels, flanges, and nipples.

Scheme 80 CPVC fittings are found in systems that transport hot and corrosive liquids used in chemical processing, coating, water heating, water distribution, and fire fighting. CPVC pipes are available in sizes from 1 / 2 "to 24" and are approved for all sanitary and mechanical code models in the United States and Canada. CPCV (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) is similar to PVC but has additional resistance to thermal or corrosive damage.

Easy installation and handling Installation of CPVC Pipe and fittings are very easy. The pipe connections of the CPVC fittings are easily detachable, and the cement and welding process is as safe as any other assembly process. High strength Petronthermoplast CPVC pipes and fittings are durable, resilient, and temperature resistant compared to other PVC pipe systems available on the market.

Spears (r) Flame guard (r), CPVC is designed for sprinklers and is ideal for residential and lighting applications. Green pipe (PPR) metal pipes require heat and flame welded joint and Petronthermoplast (rs) CPVC pipes and fittings use a solvent cement welding process. The Corrosive Waste Schedule 40 Drainage System (CPVC) is a complete system of fittings connected and formulated with solvent cement in a single step.

Solvent cement welding is a fast and safe process in which pipes and fittings are fused together at the molecular level, forming a permanent bond that becomes the strongest part of the system. When it comes to hot and cold systems for households, contractors prefer solvent cement because it is reliable, easy to use, and saves time and money. Adhesives are required to have a strong connection between the pipe and the valve.

CPVC pipes are unaffected by aggressive water as they have a smooth inner surface and do not absorb mineral deposits. Hard water does not harm the material, but copper can erode in acidic water. Primers are obtained from glossy glazed plastic pipes so that CPVC solvents and cement can melt into pieces of CPVC.

Many codes, such as UPC 1994 Sec.60622, prohibit female PVC fittings for water pipes. CPVC is made from IPS iron and the standards for pipe size corresponding to the outer diameter of the PVC pipe are from Schedule 80. For example, a copper pipe has a size of 1 / 2 "in CPVC, but we sell outer diameters of 5 / 8" and 3 / 4 "CPVC with a diameter of 7 / 8.".

The copper pipe sizing system is a different sizing system from the nominal pipe size but as its name suggests, it is the same system used for all copper pipes.

Due to the NPS size of fittings and fit, it is not recommended to mix and match materials. Mixed materials can affect the temperature and pressure of the pipelines. Consult a chemical compatibility diagram to make sure that the tube material you choose is best suited to your unique application.

For this reason, we recommend constructing pressure pipe systems with suitable pipe materials and drawings. As a company specializing in PVC (CPVC) pipes and fittings, we receive many questions about materials and parts.

It is common for pipes and fittings to be made of copper, as they are durable in sanitary applications. Less energy is invested in the production of a single foot made of CPVC pipe than in alternatives made of metal. Difficult to find CPVC Petronthermoplast fittings for your DIY project at Petronthermoplast.

Remember that CPVC pipe is not the same as PVC used for underground cold water pipes and drains. The light beige color of CPVC pipes can be distinguished from bright white PVC. Do not confuse it with plastic or polybutylene systems, which have been a problem for more than a decade.

Select a product category and use the search box to find specific products. If you say that you have copper size, say that it is Schedule 40, which probably means the same size as steel pipe (galvanized). Schedule 40 is the classification of the pipe in terms of operating pressure, operating temperature, wall thickness, and pipe.

CPVC Ball Valve is an excellent tool for easy open and closed control of water flow, as well as other liquids. Ball valves, a type of quarter-turn valve common in industrial applications, use a simple mechanism to give the user optimal control. A hollow, perforated floating ball pivots by way of a simple handle in order to allow and stop water depending on its angle. When the handle is aligned with the flow of water, the hollow interior of the ball valve is exposed, allowing water to pass; when the handle is turned to be perpendicular with water flow, the hollow interior is completely closed to water flow. These simple “on” and “off” positions make this type of valve an excellent option when ease of use is important.
